This teaser trailer is just a small glimpse of their day. We had a lot of fun on the day shooting Emma + Mikey’s wedding film they were a fab couple. It was a such a relaxed day which I think is clear from their teaser trailer.  There was so many amazing moments which were also capture by the very talented Jonathan Addie.  Work has started on the final edit of their wedding film and we are very excited about it all. Gillian and Damain’s wedding ceremony took place at the stunning St. Aloysius’ Church in Glasgow. It was beatiful ceremony with so many great moments. That nice long aisle in the church was fantastic to show Gillian’s amazing wedding dress and train.  After the ceremony we all headed back to a wonderful garden party, where there was a nearby marque already prepared for the wedding breakfast and evenings entertainment.

This was no ordinary wedding or marque, this had all been meticulously planned by Sheila Samuels and the team from 88Events. All had been planned to perfection with a fabulous nightclub scene for some late night dancing with personalised cocktails and 70′s themed entertainment.

Gillian and Damian thank you so much for inviting us into your amazing day!

Gillian + Damian’s wedding was simply an amazing day. Their wedding ceremony took place at the stunning St. Aloysius’ Church in Glasgow, and was organised and planned to perfection by Sheila Samuels’ and her fantastic team at 88Events. It was fantastic ceremony with so many beautiful moments. We we very fortunate to be invited into their day and this short teaser gives just a tiny glimpse of their day. I would love to tell you so much more about the day but I don’t want to be a spoiler and ruin the surprise before we finish their film.

We had such a great time shooting their film and are very much in the process of editing the various sections of their film. It’s great looking back at their day and choosing some of the key moments, though it’s tough as there are so many. Gillian + Damian thank you for inviting us into your special day. I know you’ll be excited and wanting to see the final film, but we’re still working on it and wanted to share this teaser with you asap, we hope you like it.

We first met Cat + Ryan back at the start of 2011 at the Your Wedding Exhibition in Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. They were in the process of planning their wedding for late summer that very year. Well summer came and what a great day it was. The wedding ceremony took place outside at Maryculter House Hotel in Royal Deeside, one of our favourite wedding locations. Although it was a little bit windy, that didn’t stop Cat + Ryan having their wedding outside. Kind of spooky but just as they kissed during the ceremony the sun came out, wow!

We were extremely fortunate to work alongside the multi-award winning and very talented Nicholas Frost, who effortlessly captured some stunning moments. It was also great to work alongside Jules MacDonald, well worth checking out.  It was a fab day and we had a great time shooting Cat + Ryan as well as all their families and friends, and the NYC theme for the wedding breakfast was terrific, especially the place settings.

Your music choices suited us perfectly and little touches such as when the song said ‘put your arm around me’ there was an image of two guests doing just that.
Very professional film, everyone has commented on how amazing it is. The sheep at the beginning was a great touch and made my mother in laws day!

Thank you so much, we knew the film would be good but I certainly didn’t appreciate that it would be to such a high standard.

Debbie + Uilleam, sneak peak

Just a quick post this week from us, as we’re really busy at the moment working through the edits of some of the amazing weddings we’ve shot. However we wanted to share with you a little glimpse of Debbie + Uilleam’s wedding from this weekend. It was great to spend so much time with Debbie + Uilleam on their special day. We shot bridal and groom prep before heading off to the beautiful Kings College Chapel.

The wedding ceremony was beautiful and conducted by Rev. Scott Cameron who was a cousin of Uilleam’s and came all the way from Steventon. Then it was back to the beautiful Ardoe House for the drinks reception, speeches and lots of fun! We had great day and really worked alongside the fantastic Sam Brill Photography. Well worth checking out!

Alison + Robbie, highlights

Alison and Robbie’s wedding ceremony took place at Crichton Collegiate Church near Edinburgh. This was a stunning village church in Pathhead, which only has about 4 weddings per year and Alison and Robbie’s wedding was a very special day in Pathhead.  This was all set against the stunning backdrop of Oxenfoord Castle which was the venue for the wedding breakfast. We were extremely lucky to work alongside the very talented and multi-award winning Scott Hogg of Scott Hogg Photography.

So this is their highlights film of their day, it was quite an emotional day with some beautiful speeches and readings just too much to fit into our short highlights film but we’ve tried to capture the feeling of the day in this short film.

Hi Westley

It says on the IOV website that you have only been doing weddings for about a year. To produce something this good in that amount of time…. I take my hat off to you!

Brilliant!

Sonia + Mark were recently married at the stunning location of Maryculter House Hotel in Royal Deeside, Aberdeenshire. This was an amazing location for an amazing couple. We had a great time from start to finish. We were on hand from the guest arriving until Sonia + Mark took the dance floor. It was a very busy day for us with so much to see and film.  We were very lucky to work alongside the fantastic Gavin Leggat from Universal Imagesand joined Sonia, Mark and Gavin during their creative shoot too.

We’ve just had a lovely text message from Sonia + Mark that we’d like to share with you “Hi Westley…Thanks so much for the wedding DVD, it’s brilliant, we love it!!!!!! Thanks again. Sonia and Mark.”
