Vickie + David, highlights

A little while back we shared with you Vickie + David’s teaser trailer. Well we recently delivered their wedding dvd and wanted to share with you their highlights film from their day. Vickie + David decided to get married in the lovely St Moluag’s Church in Tarland just on the outskirts of Aberdeen. But before we got to that point we spent a little time shooting a bridal prep of the girls getting ready. The dresses, the fab shoes the jewellery so much going on and not to mention lots of hair dressers and make up people too. One of the great things about wedding videography is that we visit some fantastic venues and places and Vickie + David’s wedding was no exception. They decided to hold their reception and wedding breakfast in the Lonach Hall in Strathdon. The Lonach Hall dates back to 1823 back in the days of King George IV but enough of the history lesson lets get back to Vickie + David wedding day. Vickie had co-ordinated all the colours such that the bridesmaids dresses, matched the seat covers, the table plans, the flowers nothing was left out, fab attention to detail. We only wish we could have fitted more into their highlights film.

We feel very fortunate to work with the Bride and Grooms we have as our clients, we say clients but actually it really doesn’t really feel like that at all.  We tend to get to know people very well throughout the build up, the day itself and also afterwards when we deliver their wedding films. Vickie + David were no exception a lovely couple and a fantastic day we thank you so much for allowing us into your special day and also taking care looking after us during the day and keeping us well fed too. As Vickie said on the day itself “happy videographer, happy bride” I couldn’t have put it better myself.

Lisa + Scott, highlights

We’ve been pretty busy here working on our wedding videos and just delivered another  film, this time Lisa + Scott, and are now delighted to be able to share with you their wedding film highlights video. It was a fantastic day with their cermeony and reception taking place in Aberdeenshire, more specifically the beautiful Banchory Ternan East Church  and Tor Na Coille Hotel. We had a fab time as Lisa and Scott’s appointed wedding videographer and think that we captured some great moments.

Lisa and Scott had some great afternoon activities planned for their guest and the children, check out their wedding highlights video above and see what Lisa and Scott had planned mid way through for the afternoon, it was for the kids, but Lisa + Scott couldn’t resist and neither could we resist shooting that moment. Also check out that amazing car we can’t remember we think it was a Mercury, answers on a postcard if you know, or drop us a comment below and tells us. We try and fit as much as possible into our highlights wedding films, but there is so so much on the final DVD, which Lisa + Scott have just received, we hope you guys like it, we had a great time shooting and editing your wedding film.  Lisa + Scott thank you so much inviting us along to your special day, we had a great time! Thank you also for looking after us and keeping us well fed too, the food was amazing!

Emma + Mikey, highlights

We recently delivered Emma + Mikey’s DVD and are now delighted to be able to share with you their wedding film highlights video. Their ceremony and reception took place at the gorgeous Meldrum House Hotel in Aberdeenshire, a venue that we are very familiar with, and love to shoot. We were very excited when Emma + Mikey chose us as their videographer as we knew they had some great things planned, amazing fireworks by Fireworkz Scotland and an awesome Chevy from Roadstars to name but a few.

Gilliam + Damian, highlights

Gillian and Damain’s ceremony took place at the stunning St. Aloysius’ Church in Glasgow, Scotland. It was beatiful ceremony with so many great moments. That nice long aisle in the church was fantastic to show Gillian’s amazing dress and train.  After the ceremony we all headed back to a wonderful garden party, where there was a nearby marque already prepared for the wedding breakfast and evenings entertainment. This is there highlights video from their DVD.

This was no ordinary wedding or marque, this had all been meticulously planned by Sheila Samuels and the team from 88Events and we were delighted to be selected as the appointed videographer. All had been planned to perfection with a fabulous nightclub scene for some late night dancing with personalised cocktails and 70′s themed entertainment.

Gillian and Damian thank you so much for inviting us into your amazing day!

We first met Cat + Ryan back at the start of 2011 at the Your Wedding Exhibition in Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre, when they were looking for a videographer. They had spent quite sometime looking into wedding videography and we were delighted they chose us. They were in the process of planning their special day for late summer that very year. Well summer came and what a great day it was. The wedding ceremony took place outside at Maryculter House Hotel in Royal Deeside, one of our favourite wedding locations. Although it was a little bit windy, that didn’t stop Cat + Ryan having their wedding outside. Kind of spooky but just as they kissed during the ceremony the sun came out, wow!

We were extremely fortunate to work alongside the multi-award winning and very talented Nicholas Frost, who effortlessly captured some stunning moments. It was also great to work alongside Jules MacDonald, well worth checking out.  It was a fab day and we had a great time shooting Cat + Ryan as well as all their families and friends, and the NYC theme for the wedding breakfast was terrific, especially the place settings. This is their highlights video from their DVD.

Alison + Robbie, highlights

Alison and Robbie’s ceremony took place at Crichton Collegiate Church near Edinburgh. This was a stunning village church in Pathhead, which only has about 4 weddings per year and Alison and Robbie’s wedding was a very special day in Pathhead.  This was all set against the stunning backdrop of Oxenfoord Castle which was the venue for the wedding breakfast. We were extremely lucky to work alongside the very talented and multi-award winning Scott Hogg of Scott Hogg Photography.

So this is their highlights video of their day, it was quite an emotional day with some beautiful speeches and readings just too much to fit into our short highlights film but we’ve tried to capture the feeling of the day in this short film which features on their DVD.

We had a great time from start to finish. We were on hand from the guest arriving until Sonia + Mark took the dance floor. It was a very busy day for us with so much to see and film.  We were very lucky to work alongside the fantastic Gavin Leggat from Universal Imagesand joined Sonia, Mark and Gavin during their creative shoot too.
