So a little while back Lucy + Andrew contacted us via email to tell us all about their plans for their Drumtochty Wedding. They told us it was to be a Drumtochty Wedding, with the fusion of Scottish and Russian traditions we said ok we’re in and would love to be part of this amazing day, and what an amazing day it was.
We got chatting over a few emails and also had Skype video session too and discussed the plans, we were very excited. We were also super excited to be working alongside Alie + Niels from Blue Sky Photography, when we heard they guys were involved we knew it was going to be a crazy fun day too! The day was set to take place at Drumtochty Castle with both the girls and boys getting ready there, after which we were all treated to a beautiful outdoor ceremony to celebrate both Scottish and Russian traditions.
The weather held and we had an absolutely gorgeous day at the Castle and various hidden gem locations around Drumtochty Glen. Next it was drinks + canapés and onto the speeches after which it was party time. It was great seeing everyone joining in on the traditional Scottish dances we think Lucy’s families and friends from Russia did a fantastic job following the dances, well done. It was great having the uber talented Alie + Niels from Blue Sky Photography on hand throughout the day to capture the day beautifully.
